I bought this as a birthday present for my fiance. I set it up and the first thing that I noticed is how heavy and bulky the system is. Also, the slide does not go up and cannot be moved. I am returning it and never buying another weider product again. Utter waste of money. The manual does not help and the people when you call up weider have no clue how to help either.

I owned the totalgym 1100, and this one beats it hands down, and costs less. The construction is very sturdy. It's a good workout at almost any fitness level. I'm working at getting back in shape, and think this machine will be key in the process. I would recommend this product. It is a little noisy, but most gym equipment is, some much louder. Set-up was easy, and folding it away is not bad. It does require a pretty good size space for storage. All in all, I'm very happy with the unit.
